I am currently using an EW model B electronic baro to record my flights. The model B can be upgraded to recieve GPS input and thus become a full data logger.

I am trying to decide if this is the best way to go, or if I'd be better served by going to a small, simple, and relatively inexpensive data recorder such as the Colibri.

Can anyone provide input on these choices or other solutions you have found?

My anticipated use is to document flights for state records and badges.
