In addition to the World Grand Prix which just ended in New Zealand and all associated Regional GP's selecting the participants the new trend worldwide is building.... National GP's.
One of the problems all national organizations accouter is a problem of glider class they should be using. Shouldn’t WCSA as an Organisation use this momentum to organize the first US GP’s? We for one don't have problems with handicapping. The best will be the first at finish line.
Next World Class Nationals will put, in one place, a number of PWs. They would be left there for US GP if it happened just after it. GP format would bring some excitement and possibly new participants. PWs for hire would be provided for interested newcomers. There is still a lot of time to organize it.
Just a winter thought. Two cents, at the best.
